Roller Compacted Concrete Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) is a concrete that has essentially the same ingredients as Conventional Vibrated Concrete (CVC) but in different ratios: § RCC has lower cement content and a higher fly ash or slag content. This allows for long term strength gain (over 28 days) and a lower heat of hydration.

May 22, 2019 · Roller-compacted concrete pavements (RCCP) have not been widely used in South Africa. There have been some test sections predominantly in the 1980s and 1990ss which were assessed using a Heavy Vehicle Simulator and RCCP did prove effective enough to have been used in a number of low volume road and industrial projects around the country.
